Christchurch - The Loons
Thanks to our two daughters we had tickets to see a
local group called 'Departure Lounge' play at 'The Loons', a former working men's club in the centre of Lyttleton, near Christchurch.
The group gave an
interesting performance with vibrant instrumentation and dynamic live sound. It has to be said that we were treated more to a rock performance than jazz. However, they were a
talented group that made for a good evening.
